Located in Palmichal, Acosta central Costa Rica, Hacienda San Ignacio is dedicated not only to producing sublime coffee, but to the protection of the land and its natural environment.
With over half of the farm’s area populated by native woodland, the coffee plots are separated by large forests, creating natural biological corridors. For seven years the farm has been part of FONAFIFO-MINAE, an initiative to protect over 156 hectares of Costa Rican woodland.
