Glee Coffee Roasters - Colombia La Divisa
Tasting Notes: Stonefruit, Caramel, Lime.
Recommended for Espresso/Filter.
Our producer Sebastian Gomez owns and operates La Divisa coffee farm, along with his wife and father. It’s a 13-hectare property located in the Circasia Quindio region of Colombia. The family have been in the coffee industry for 30 years and have enjoyed riding the specialty coffee wave over the last decade or so. This coffee uses a washed process, which is where the best cherries are picked and sorted by hand, before being exposed to 30 hours of underwater fermentation. The cherries are then pulped and dried in temperature controlled areas to protect moisture levels. The result is a stone fruit flavour with a smooth, clean mouthfeel. Scoring 87 on the cupping table, we are stoked to bring this fella to your taste buds!
We love this coffee cos’: it's a brand newbie for us, and we love supporting families in business. Thanks team Gomez!
Our Glee family has roasted this coffee to suit both espresso/filter applications. We've partnered with our friend and budding Central Coast artist, Jolie Samways for this seasonal design. (@joliesgallery)
