Story
Odaco is a microlot coffee, sourced from smallholder farmers around Shantawene, Sidama. This Ethiopian region is renowned for its exceptional coffee, known for its bright acidity, vibrant flavours, and complex profiles.
Although naturally processed, this coffee boasts remarkably delicate and elegant notes, revealing flavours such as jasmine and Earl Grey tea, with subtle hints of stone fruit complementing the balanced profile.
This lot is named "Odaco" to honour the strong cultural significance of the Shantawene community and the Sidama people. "Odaco" is a well-known tree where the community gathers under its branches to resolve local conflicts. The name Odaco reflects the unity and harmony within the community, symbolised by the gathering place beneath the tree.
