Tasting Notes: Blackberry, Nectarine, Cocoa.

A naturally processed coffee produced by vertically integrated coffee company Bette Buna, Ethiopia, who work with local communities to create opportunities and access to the speciality market.

Pathfinder celebrates the roads less travelled. Sweet, vibrant, and fruitful—it’s a coffee that has, since conception, bound the unique terroir of each component, bringing them together to create a cup bursting with character. It's a seasonal coffee so the destination will change this 3-4 times a year, rotating the origin based on seasonality, provenance and our Direct Trade relationships.

This coffee is a single farm lot, sourced from Bette Buna’s farm in the Megadu woreda of Ethiopia’s Guji zone. The farm covers 220 hectares of land, divided into plots of semi-forest and wild forest, with coffee planted throughout. Home to both full-time and seasonal employees, who are provided with weekly transportation to the relatively remote location, housing, meals, and satellite education for their children who travel with their parents to the farm during the busy season
