Pirates of Coffee - Slurpy, Colombia Anaerobic Washed
Slurpy is produced by Rodrigo Sanchez at Monteblanco Farm in the Pitalito, Huila region of Colombia. It is a caturra bourbon varietal and was produced with an anaerobic washed process.
Slurpy has dominant purple fruit characteristics, and feels like you are dipping your head into a bucket of freshly picked blueberries.
Tasting Notes: Blueberry, Purple Grape, Violet, Blue Raspberry
Cup score: 88.00 ☕
Slurpy is a part of 2024 Loco Series, which celebrates the crazy (in a good way) coffees coming out of Colombia. Our goal is to appreciate and display the innovative efforts of Colombian coffee producers that are helping sharpen the edges of the coffee production industry worldwide.
Monteblanco sits surrounded by the Cueva de los Guacharos National Natural Park, and rests right by the Suaza River Valley.
The natural landscape that sprawls in each direction provides the farm with a direct connection to nature and the wonderful flora and fauna that exists within it. The fourteen hectares of Monteblanco is a family farm managed by Rodrigo Sanchez Valencia.
