Diego Samuel Bermúdez Tapia is the founding partner of INDESTEC SAS/Finca El Paraíso and was born in Bolívar Cauca. Diego is a professional in Agricultural Business Administration and has been in the coffee industry for 12 years. In 2015, Finca el Paraíso ranked 16th in a Regional coffee quality contest. This was a most impressive result considering it was the first time Diego had participated and opened their mind to their farms vast potential. He undertook to learn as much as he could - with more desire than resources - with the firm conviction of where he wanted to go. Diego considers himself a dream-filed leader who finds in specialty coffee the possibility to create something special for himself and his family. Today he is the Manager of INDESTEC SAS, a family business which is dedicated to the production and marketing of specialty coffees. Diego and El Paraiso is well known for their wild and innovative processes. We are happy to have this coffee to roast and brew.
