Layo Teraga is a cooperative located in northern Guji (Uraga). This cooperative has around 500 members. Coffees from this area of Uraga, around the Hawata washing station are some of the highest grown in Ethiopia (peaks up to 2300masl). The coffee is mainly grown in semi-forest environments, using natural vegetation as shade cover. Layo Teraga is part of the Oromia Coffee Farmer’s Cooperative Union, one of the largest Unions in Ethiopia
