It was discovered on a plantation in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil sometime between 1915 and 1918. For decades, it was one of the most economically important coffees in Central America, to the extent that it was often used (and sometimes still is) and a \"benchmark\" against which new cultivars are tested. In Colombia, Caturra was thought to represent nearly half of the country's production until a government-sponsored program beginning in 2008 incentivized the renovation of over three billion coffee trees with the leaf-rust-resistant Castillo variety.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"September Coffee","offers":[{"title":"250g","offer_id":48603375436019,"sku":null,"price":35.0,"currency_code":"BND","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0455\/2343\/5672\/files\/rn-image_picker_lib_temp_45d7a2e4-a71b-4156-970b-98a92aba9180.jpg?v=1772786253","url":"https:\/\/thecoffeeguy.store\/products\/september-coffee-eyder-martinez-colombia-semi-washed-caturra","provider":"thecoffeeguy","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
